Big in Belgium

MicroStep’s largest CNC cutting and machining centre, DRM Max, lived up to its name with a commanding presence at Machineering 2025.

MicroStep made a strong impression at Machineering 2025, Belgium's premier trade fair dedicated to manufacturing technologies and mechanical engineering, held from March 26 – 28 at Brussels EXPO in Belgium. In collaboration with our longstanding Benelux partner, Wouters Cutting & Welding, we showcased the latest advancements in technology and automation alongside renowned suppliers from the welding and 3D processing sectors.

Machineering 2025: A Hub for Industry Innovations

Machineering 2025 served as a central platform for exploring cutting-edge solutions in materials processing, industrial supply, and Industry 4.0 innovations. The event addressed current challenges such as supply chain disruptions, rising energy costs, and the push for sustainable production. With ten specialized routes guiding visitors through the latest in machinery, automation, design software, predictive maintenance, advanced materials, and connected components, Machineering provided a comprehensive overview of modern manufacturing advancements.

DRM Max: The Robust All-rounder

MicroStep's contribution to the fair – the powerful double-beam DRM Max gantry – counted among the largest cutting machines on display at the event. Our robust all-rounder captivated attendees with its multifunctional capabilities, including milling, drilling, 3D cutting, marking, and the ability to process domes and dome segments. The machine's versatility and precision highlighted MicroStep's commitment to delivering comprehensive solutions for complex industrial applications.

A standout feature was the cutting table equipped with brass pins, which drew significant interest from visitors – along with the machine’s integrated drilling, milling, and cutting capabilities – highlighting its potential for substantial cost savings and improved production efficiency.

Engaging with Industry Professionals

The exhibition saw a steady stream of visitors throughout, especially on the extended day when it remained open from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM. MicroStep’s team was excited to engage in meaningful conversations with customers well into the evening hours!

„The collaborative and welcoming atmosphere at Machineering encouraged valuable exchanges of insights on market trends, customer needs, and global industry developments with fellow partners and suppliers, enriching our collective understanding of the current industrial landscape,“ concluded Kristian Holenia, Sales and Application Specialist at MicroStep.

A Taste of Local Culture

After the productive days at the exhibition, the MicroStep team enjoyed a local Belgian experience, tasting specialty beer directly from Turnhout, known as the City of Cards. Served in elegant stemmed glasses, the setup „provided a perfect conclusion to a successful event, offering a pleasant moment to relax and reflect,“ added Holenia.

Overall, MicroStep’s presence at Machineering 2025 not only showcased our advanced technological capabilities but also underscored our strong commitment to customer engagement, professional reliability, and meaningful partnerships.

A big thank you to our partner Wouters Cutting & Welding for the collaboration — here’s to many more inspiring projects ahead!
