MicroStep Highlights Dynamic 3D Machine Modelling at DriveWorks Summit 2025

MicroStep recently took part in the DriveWorks Configure & Automate Summit 2025, a key event in design automation and configuration, held at Birchwood Park in Warrington, UK. Bringing together DriveWorks users, partners, and product experts, the summit offered two days of interactive presentations, networking, and hands-on insight into the latest advancements in DriveWorks technology.

Focused on the future of digital selling, engineering automation and product configuration across industries, the participants got to experience live demos, customer case studies, and roadmap discussions showcasing how DriveWorks is helping companies streamline sales and production processes worldwide.

MicroStep was honored to be among the featured presenters – our DriveWorks specialist Matej Sedlak shared how we use the platform in our Machine Configurator, a tool that allows us to create customized 3D CNC machine models in real-time during sales discussions. This enables instant visualizations tailored to the customer's production needs, improving engagement and accelerating decision-making.

Thanks to DriveWorks, we’ve reduced machine layout drawing times for our offers from days to just a couple of minutes, significantly improving efficiency and speed across our sales and engineering workflows.

During the summit, our team explored the latest DriveWorks capabilities, including updates in rules-based automation, 3D visualization, and ERP/CRM integration. It was also a great opportunity to exchange ideas with other manufacturers and see how automation is evolving across different industries.

In addition to formal sessions, the summit fostered open discussions and knowledge-sharing, reinforcing the strong sense of community among DriveWorks users.
