This camera can be used for two applications:
Template scanning
The template is scanned and converted to a CNC program or dxf format. The best results are with dull black template and white background (usually paper). The scanned lines must have sharp edges and be at least 5 mm ditant from each other. The camera is fixed on a cutting tool station only during the scanning process and is removed during cutting.
Synchronization with pre-drilled holes
A plate with pre-drilled holes is transferred to a cutting machine equipped with the CCD camera. After scanning the holes, the system is able to derive the correct positions of contours to be cut. In this case, the camera is mounted on a cutting tool station or a separate tool station and equipped with protection against molten metal. Removing it after every scanning process would significantly slow down production.
